NSE All-Share Index rose by 880.48 points to close at 35,533 on 288.6 million shares exchanged in 2,578 deals for a total of N12.25 billion
Nestle led the gainers’ table with a gain of N8 to appreciate to N910 per share while Nigerian Breweries (NB) led the losers’ table with a loss of N3.40 to close at N155.60 per share.
The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) All-Share Index gained 412.95 points to close at 35,553 on Tuesday to record a growth of 2.54%. Market capitalization grew by N303.5 billion to close at N12.25 trillion as against N11.94 trillion.
Nestle which had slumped the past two days in the market led the gainers’ table with a gain of N8 to appreciate to N910 per share while Nigerian Breweries (NB) led the losers’ table with a loss of N3.40 to close at N155.60 per share.
In all, 288.6 million shares exchanged in 2,578 deals for a total of N12.09 billion
UBA Plc stocks were the most traded with 118.5 million shares exchanged for N1.2 billion. 38.3 million shares of Transcorp were exchanged for N63.2 million
