The to-be bride of Prince Harry, actress Meghan Markle is reportedly going to undertake a diet before her big day.
This same diet sources say, is similar to Kate Middleton’s pre-wedding Dukan diet.
The idea of Meghan Markle going on a pre-wedding diet is a little hard to wrap one’s heads around, but hey, it’s her big day and she can diet if she wants to. A recent report in the Express is speculating whether or not Meghan will follow Kate Middleton‘s pre-wedding diet, also known as the Dukan diet.
Before she wed Prince William in 2011, the duchess was reportedly “obsessed” with the Dukan diet, though she’s never spoken publicly about it, Cafemom disclosed.
The low-carb diet is similar to the popular Keto diet. In order to follow it, you need to complete an “attack phase,” which entails eating just protein and oat bran.
Next is a “cruise phrase” with lean protein, veggies, and oat bran. Then comes the “consolidation phase,” where you can have some carbs and fats.
And then finally comes the “stabilization phrase,” where you can have more oat bran.
The diet puts the body into ketosis, where fat is burned for energy instead of carbohydrates.
